Privacy and data handling at PersonaPair

This page explains what PersonaPair stores, where it is stored, how basic analytics are used, and what users should understand before relying on device-local data.

What is stored and where

Most PersonaPair features still run directly in the browser. That means saved results and in-progress assessment data may remain on the device you used rather than in a cross-device account system.

Saved results stay on this device for now

Saved results and resume progress are currently stored in the browser on the device you used, so they do not automatically follow you to another device yet.

Analytics are used to improve the product

We capture a limited set of product events such as starting or finishing the assessment, opening key pages, and using core actions so we can improve the overall experience.

There is no full account system yet

Because PersonaPair is not fully account-based yet, data kept in browser storage can be lost if the browser storage is cleared or the user switches devices.

What kind of usage data exists right now

Right now the main data involved includes assessment answers in active sessions, basic profile inputs chosen by the user, device-local saved results, and a limited set of analytics events for product improvement. We try to keep this scope close to what is necessary for the experience to function and improve.

What this page is not trying to cover

This page focuses on privacy and data handling. If you want to understand how the assessment interprets choices, how the result should be read, or why PersonaPair is not an official MBTI assessment, the Methodology page is the better place to start.

Common questions

What happens if I clear my browser or switch devices?

Some saved results and in-progress data may disappear, because the current storage model is still tied to the browser on that specific device.

Does PersonaPair use cookies?

PersonaPair currently relies mainly on browser storage and basic product analytics. If cookie usage becomes important in a future feature, this page should be updated clearly.

Where should I read about scoring and interpretation?

Please use the Methodology page for that. We intentionally separate result interpretation from privacy so both topics stay clearer and easier to trust.

If you want the bigger picture

Use the Methodology page for scoring and interpretation, and the About page for the broader product purpose behind PersonaPair.
